What are floor mounted column guards?

Floor mounted column guards are made of strong S235 steel. Mounted into the warehouse floor or slab, they offer protection of pallet racking uprights, frames and posts from collision damage. Secured into the ground using M12 100mm fixings, they require tools and additional fixing time over clip-on Rack Armour or Protect-It style guards.

Use the narrow aisle 3-sided guard for uprights within the pallet racking aisle and the 2-sided corner column guard for the end frame or upright.

The narrow aisle 3-sided floor mounted column guard shouldn't impact on your bay clear entry but contact us if you have a query.

Please allow 3 - 4 weeks for delivery. If you require this sooner please contact us

What is racking upright protection?

Pallet racking uprights can be referred to as posts, frames & columns. Upright protection is a form of barrier or defence against accidental damage which could be caused by your materials handling equipment, such as forklifts. There are 2 primary forms of upright protection; column guard protectors and end of rack barriers.

Why should you use racking upright protection?

Upright protection in any form can help prevent your uprights, posts or columns being damaged by materials handling equipment. Damage to uprights could have serious consequences, including the potential of collapse & injury to personnel! It can also act as a reference point for materials handling & forklift operators so they can easily avoid racking - think hi-vis jacket for your racking!
